Unapologetically You – Owning Your Story, Voice & Power

The empowerment panel, hosted by Charlene Williams—founder of Beauty of Wholeness, created a powerful space for healing and connection. Women and girls ages 10 to 70+ were deeply moved by community leaders who shared how they overcame personal trauma and life’s obstacles, showing that healing is possible through vulnerability, resilience, and shared stories.

This year, KCRS Youth Empowerment proudly sponsored rising twin talents Jeneyda & Jaeyda DeJesus Wray—high school students who are boldly stepping into the music scene with originality and purpose.

As young vocalists and performers, their passion for music and powerful stage presence captivated the audience during the Crown Her Soirée. Their performance marked a defining moment in the beginning of their unique musical journey, reminding everyone that greatness starts with courage and opportunity.

By investing in their talents, KCRS continues its mission to uplift and support the next generation of artists and storytellers. Jeneyda and Jaeyda represent what it means to be fearless, gifted, and unapologetically you.

The Crowned in Confidence Workshop Series is a six-week empowerment journey designed to help girls and young women (ages 10–25) build self-esteem, strengthen identity, and embrace their inner power. Through hands-on activities, open dialogue, mentorship, and creative expression, participants learn to walk confidently in who they are, unapologetically and without comparison.

This workshop series culminates with participants showcasing their transformation during the Crown Her Soirée fashion show, where they walk the runway with purpose and pride.

The KG Threads Fashion Show was a dynamic centerpiece of the Crown Her Soirée 2025, celebrating fashion as a form of identity, strength, and self-expression. Designed to elevate the voices and presence of young women, the show featured youth models from the Crowned in Confidence empowerment program and highlighted a journey from internal growth to external boldness.

Hosted and styled by KG Threads, the show went beyond trends — it was a statement of pride, individuality, and inner beauty.
