The Safe Space Support Group by KCRS provides a supportive environment for young women aged 14-25 to address self-esteem, mental wellness, and personal growth. The program includes holistic financial literacy, mental, physical, and emotional well-being, career development, and experiential learning. KCRS believes these skills are essential to addressing the underlying barriers that hinder sustainable success.

KCRS Youth Empowerment hosted a vibrant and uplifting Back-to-School Health & Self-Care Workshop, where participants explored the importance of skincare, self-empowerment, and embracing their authentic selves. Volunteer Nytasha led an engaging session that encouraged reflection and confidence-building.
Attendees enjoyed complimentary facials and manicures, thanks to our generous partners, Aesthetics Skin for All and Polish Lounge. The evening began with affirmations and refreshments, led by our Safe Space Manager, setting the tone for a nurturing and empowering experience.
Before taking the stage at The Crown Her Soirée Fashion Show, our models participated in a transformative six-week journey called Crowned in Confidence. This series was created to help young women and teens build self-esteem, confidence, and personal growth beyond the runway.
Through weekly sessions focused on affirmations, self-love, journaling, and empowerment activities, participants developed not only modeling skills but also a stronger sense of identity and purpose. By the end of the program, each model walked the runway with confidence, grace, and a renewed belief in her own power—embracing her crown from the inside out.
At our health & fitness workshop you'll learn practical tips and techniques to enhance your well-being. This workshop covers nutrition, exercise routines, mental health strategies and more, led by experts in the field.
At career day mix & mingle, we had the privilege of hearing from professionals with diverse experiences who shared how they overcame challenges and thrived in their careers.
